Question about Myspace layout backgrounds?

I go to the Myspace layout site and pick which one I want. I copy and paste the code in "About Me." The problem is that when I view it the background only shows on the sides of my page. The middle of my page is a white block that is covering up the rest of the background. How can I get the layout to cover my whole site?

Thats just because your previewing it, if save it and click "view my profile" then it should show as yo saw it on the layout site.

that is the style of the layout, there's no way to change it.

get a different layout because what you have is called a default lyt, which causes that white in the center

There's most likley a error in the code you are copying and pasting. Just a guess. Try a different background and see if that works.

As a former member of the customer support, this is because either there something that's on your computer that shouldn't be, The code, or you have to many cookies on your profile, there are more, but I just can't think of them.

you can go to www.mygen.co.uk and use that picture to make the layout yourself. that's what i do.

I get on others PC's and they have backgrounds showing and their profiles even show. When I get on my own PC nothing but regular text shows up no backgrounds just plain white on them all. Please help thanks.

Why would you want them to? Most Myspace backgrounds are worthless images that you can't really see anyway and that serve no purpose other than making the site hard to read.

Anyway, try updating your browser, and I think there is an option in your browser to turn off background images. Check for that and turn it back on.
